We offer a 4 day working week of Monday to Thursday, with overtime offered on Friday’s and Saturday’s.  

We operate across 3 facilities in Brisbane with our main factory at Loganholme with direct access off the Pacific Highway and Logan Motorway.

We are a 3rd generation family run business that has been in operation since 1952.

We are proud to have some staff with the company in excess of 30 + years, with the majority of our staff being with the company in surplus of 5 years.

CURRENT AVAILABILITY

 

MECHANIC

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·      Perform mechanical repairs to tankers and trucks

·      Drive workshop/clients trucks for pick-up and deliveries

·      Install brake and suspension systems to new tanker sub frames

·      Demonstrate competency in the use of workshop plant

·      Demonstrate competency in the use of hand tools

·      Work within the perimeters of Workplace Health and Safety legislation

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

 

·      Most work is carried out in a modern, neat workshop

·      Some work is carried out in cramped/tight spaces

·      Some work is conducted outside

·      Some work involves working at heights

·      Sometimes work is conducted in extreme heat

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

·      Be physically fit

·      Ability to work for extended periods in cramped/tight spaces

·      Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time

·      Ability to use hand tools for long periods of time

·      Ability to use percussion tools

·      Perform repetitive tasks

BOILER MAKER / WELDER

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·      Perform fabrication of bulk fluid tankers

·      Perform welding of bulk fluid tankers

·      Perform fabrication of tanker sub-frames

·      Perform welding of tanker sub-frames

·      Perform fabrication of specialised projects

·      Perform welding of specialised projects

·      Demonstrate competency in the use of workshop plant

·      Demonstrate competency in the use of hand tools

·      Demonstrate the ability to read and interpret workshop drawings

·      Work within the perimeters of Workplace Health and Safety legislation 

WORKING CONDITIONS 

·      Most work is carried out in a modern, neat workshop

·      Some work is carried out in confined spaces

·      Some work is conducted outside

·      Some work involves working at heights

·      Sometimes work is conducted in extreme heat

·      High risk of muscular skeletal injury manual handling if not physically fit

·      Risk of receiving burns from welding, grinding and oxy acetylene equipment

·      Risk of laceration and crush injury from workshop plant 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

·      Be physically fit to endure a 10 hour shift on a regular basis.

·      Ability to enter and exit tanks using upper body and back strength to support body when entering/exiting tanks when the opening is horizontal (in the 9 o’clock position).

·      Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time

·      Ability to weld in a static posture in confined space, crouched, bent and above head positions for long periods of time (10 – 30 minutes without pausing).

·      Ability to use hand tools for long periods of time- e.g. Swing a hammer

·      Ability to use percussion and air-tools in all positions.

·      Perform repetitive tasks

·      Lift heavy objects on a regular basis

AUTO-ELEC FITTER

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·      Perform auto-electrical wiring of new, used and repaired tankers and trucks

·      Install pneumatic systems in tanker sub frames

·      Demonstrate competency in the use of workshop plant

·      Demonstrate competency in the use of hand tools

·      Work within the perimeters of Workplace Health and Safety legislation

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

·      Work within the perimeters of Workplace Health and Safety legislation

·      Wear appropriate PPE when required

·      Perform pipework fabrication and welding for bulk fluid tankers

·      Possess the ability to assemble intricate components

·      Demonstrate competency in the use of workshop plant

·      Demonstrate competency in the use of hand tools

·      Demonstrate the ability to read and interpret workshop drawings

·      Work within the perimeters of Workplace Health and Safety legislation
